One Malayalam film a day, the same for the whole office, revealed one hint at a time — the decade first, then the premise, the composer, the cast, the year, the plot, its awards, its songs. Guess at any point from the film list: the earlier you name it, the more it scores. Solve it on the era alone or take all eight and settle for a little.

How a round goes

1. The first hint is the weakest one — roughly when the film came out.
2. Guess from the searchable film list whenever you think you have it.
3. A wrong guess, or asking for the next hint, moves you down a rung and a point tier.
4. Eight rungs in all, from 1000 points on the first to 80 on the last.
5. Everyone in the office gets the same film each day, so the score is comparable.
